These French oak parquetry
panels are made from 50-100 year old re-milled
French Oak wine barrels. They are carefully
dismantled, remilled into straight sections, and
in the tradition of an authentic French Oak
floor, transformed into the pattern made famous
by their use in the Palace of Versailles and for
hundreds of years since.
This is a solid French Oak
panel with tannins of red wine still evident on
the backs of some boards, whilst character marks
and aroma add to the charm of this extraordinary
floor.
Can be laid in variety of
different patterns and finishes and can be used
with other parquetry block create borders, both
interleaved and to frame the room.
